Daaji’s day began early, as he had to leave by 7 a.m. for his talk at the G20 Economic Forum at Taj Krishna Hyderabad. The Group of Twenty (G20) is the premier forum for international economic cooperation. It plays an important role in shaping and strengthening global architecture and governance on all major international economic issues. G20 members currently account for more than 80% of the world's GDP, 75% of global trade, and 60% of the global population. It is a matter of great honour for the mission to have our beloved Daaji address a session of the 2nd Digital Economy Working Group Meeting of the G20. Daaji was received warmly by the organisers and taken to the hall for the session.
"Yoga tells us that if the individual mind finds peace, it can achieve a lot. Some level of happiness is what all creatures want. Is it possible to have peace without harmony within us and with our surroundings? Is harmony possible without a contemplative mind? Is contemplation possible without a focused state of mind? And is it possible to have a focused state of mind without a mental gym? Such a mental gym is meditation, or Dhyana, which is loosely translated as being synonymous. But I differ. Dhyana means to transcend the mind itself. As a result of Dhyana, many good things happen automatically. For example, when the mind is in tune with the higher self, the heart will be able to recognise a mistake.

Whenever we have followed our hearts, the results have been stunningly beautiful. Whenever we follow the mind, even if the ideas are lofty but the heart says no, one suffers. This is mind pollution. Sage Vashishta, one of the famous Indian sages, has said that if the degree of awareness or reception expands to a great extent, we become more and
more conscious and resist doing the wrong things. In economics, yoga is also about regulating the impulses of the heart and mind, which lead us to take the right action. The heart’s impulses should be heard."


In his talk, he shared that the 17 SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) goals set by the United Nations are all interdependent. If one falls, the others also fall, be it political, poverty management, environmental sustainability, or any other. Money and greed are the basis for environmental pollution. When the competitive nature of man takes over, the results are disastrous. Indian tradition believes that the reason behind competitiveness in men is
thought pollution.  If one can regulate the mind and bring about a healthy mindset, then all the
Problems can be solved. And that is why he urged the introduction of the 18th SDG, eradication of thought pollution’.


After this impactful talk, Daaji conducted the relaxation and meditation session from 8:29 AM to 8:50 AM. He then addressed a few questions from members of the audience. Daaji had breakfast at the venue and met the organisers of the event. He shared with them that the event could have been held in a much more befitting manner at Kanha Shanti Vanam. He invited them over to KSV for a visit in the near future and also invited them to host their next event there.


Daaji returned home thereafter and met a group of preceptor-training candidates over lunch. He offered everyone some snacks that he had prepared himself the day before and also conducted a short meditation session from 1:05 to 1:15 PM for all present at the table itself.

In the evening, around 5:30 PM, he had a meeting with the preceptor candidates and the team from Tropical Agro, led by Shri V K Jhaver, Chairman. After a short meditation session from 5:38 PM to 6:06 PM, Daaji addressed a few questions from the team. For a question on how meditation will help in coming out of stress, anxiety, depression, and schizophrenia, Daaji said that these are mental disorders that even the best of us may face when we get toppled at an emotional level. The main focus of yoga and meditation is to prevent it, like vaccination, which is better than curing the condition after it has arisen. If we get on a spiritual path and practise as prescribed, then such conditions can be kept at bay. It is when we compromise with our practise that we succumb to such worldly affairs. In the beginning stage of such a condition, multiple sittings with the preceptors' help
The first thing we can do ourselves is slow down with our practise and only do cleaning, both in the morning and evening, and take sittings from preceptors. There are times when these conditions arise from external causes, like the death of a loved one. In such times, one can take help from medication prescribed by a doctor; there is no harm. Medication in such cases provides externally the neurotransmitters like serotonin that greatly benefit the situation. One should not feel guilty in any way for this and seek help from preceptors.

In another question asking how to know if we are progressing and the parameters to know if we are on the right path, Daaji guided that it is of the utmost importance to know first why one is practising at all and what the goal of one’s life is. We have forgotten the real goal of the embodied soul (atman), which is to evolve and return home to the source. It is like a child that got lost in the fair who cannot find its parents and dies without ever meeting them again. So we have to revive that memory through meditation. Whenever the path to the real goal is correct, the soul understands, perceives, and grasps that it is evolutionary for it and showers us with a lot of peace, leading to a feeling of a trouble-free life. That is the first sign. If one is on the wrong path, one will feel constantly disturbed.
One finds oneself doing work with better clarity of mind, focus, and excellence as one follows the guidance of the heart through meditation. One can judge progress by sitting in silence, walking around alone in the ashram, and contemplating. But before one asks oneself that question, one must reflect and see if one has been doing the practise as prescribed. One must know what to do with what one has been given. A 360-degree vision results only when we are poised and in utter silence within our hearts. Our near and dear ones can also endorse our progress, or lack thereof, by telling us if we have changed our habits for the better.

The third question was on the real cause of failure and unhappiness. Daaji said that the reason is unawareness. All unhappiness is a result of not knowing why one is doing what one is doing, which is like sleeping with open eyes. Daaji also released three new products on the occasion: Tag Rio, Tag Weedfire, and Tag Rocket.

Daaji had dinner with another group of preceptor candidates, and after that, he had a discussion with Dr. Ashok Saxena and Dr. Ramakantha on the Greening India Mission. We need to see what contribution we can make to this lofty initiative. It was discussed that the government is going to recommend Kanha Shanti Vanam as a Centre of Excellence in Forests. Many more MOUs are in the pipeline, for example, the Aravali Mound Greening Project, etc. Daaji spoke about which water sources could be used immediately. Daaji spoke on how such projects in the areas could make the flow of the Saraswati River restart, enriching the whole landscape of India.

Daaji addressed a session of the 2nd Digital Economy Working Group Meeting of the G20. He shared that the 17 SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) goals set by the United Nations are all interdependent. He also urged the introduction of the 18th SDG for the eradication of thought pollution'. He then addressed a few questions from members of the audience. He also shared valuable insights on how to revive memories through meditation.

Kanha Shantivanam 18th April 2023

In the morning Daaji observed a red mark on his chest at the location of Point 3 and remarked that it may be because of some spiritual work going on. The third point is related to emotions and we get caught up in them. He also shared that it had taken eight years for him to transcend the third point. When one seeker asked Daaji the way to overcome emotions, Daaji said that most worries arise out of attachment and not due to concern, the cause being overthinking. One must take things as if everything is fine. He later related an incident from Ahmedabad where after conducting a meditation once, he had found the entire upper chest red in color.

Daaji is an explorer and experimenter which we all know well by now. That this aspect covers the kitchen too was a complete surprise! Once in a while, he gets hands-on and tries new stuff. Today one could see him learning how to make a healthy and interesting snack for his grandchildren and working on it practically. He was in a happy mood and loved being the chef for them.

There was an event in the meditation hall at 5 PM in the evening, where the guest invitee was Shri Devusinh Jesingbhai Chauhan, Minister of State for Communications, Government of India. The minister arrived in Kanha around 12.30 pm and was received at The Pearl, from where he joined Daaji for lunch in his house along with Shri Ashish Bhatia, ex-DG Police Gujarat. After the lunch Daaji and Chauhan ji discussed various initiatives and how they could work together for the progress of the nation.

Mahila Samman Savings Certificate Release:
Daaji reached the meditation hall at 5 PM at the same time as the minister. As he was entering the hall, an Iranian seeker met him and shared that after having spent two weeks at Kanha, he was leaving the next morning and wanted to say bye. Daaji asked to join him for dinner later that evening.

The agenda for the event was the release of a Special Cover by India Post on the Mahila Samman Savings Certificate Special Campaign in Telangana 2023-24, where the special guests were Daaji; Shri Devusinh Chauhan, MOS for Communications Govt of India; Shri Ashish Bhatia, ex DGP Gujarat; Shri V K Jhaver, chairman Tropical Agro and other  dignitaries from the Postal Department. Many representatives from the print and electronic media were also present. After the release of the special cover, the MSS certificates were distributed.

The savings certificate scheme has been launched by the government encouraging women to invest for their better financial well-being and the future of girl children. Daaji in his immense benevolence sponsored certificates for some of our community's sisters which were given to them and many other women at the event by the minister and Daaji together. Daaji was felicitated by the minister and dignitaries from the postal department.

In his address to the audience, the minister spoke on how he felt himself fortunate to be at Kanha in the presence of Daaji and to be a part of the legacy of Lalaji and Babuji Maharaj. He extended his support to the activities of the mission and enumerated the benefits of the Savings Certificate Scheme for all.

Daaji in his talk encouraged one and all to contribute whatever one could for the upliftment and support of women financially. He spoke of giving employment to women in one’s enterprises and always being aware in giving them what they required, not just clothes. This is a lesson to be learnt for all of us with regard to the simple act of giving itself. After his talk, he conducted a meditation session for about twenty-seven minutes after which he gave a small gift to the minister and his wife Smt Bhartiben Chauhan. After the completion of the event, Daaji along with the guests went into his office, where a Brighter Minds demo had been arranged for them. There was a discussion on a few projects followed by an interaction with the media. At the time of their send off Daaji asked them to return for a visit of at least a couple of days to explore Kanha.


Daaji felt tired after the session and returned home, where around 12 people from  the ongoing meditation trainers’ training batch along with the Iranian seeker joined him for dinner. After dinner, he conducted a meditation session of about six minutes for all of them. Later, he walked to the gate to see everyone off and patiently waited until they left. This simple act showed His simplicity and love. He returned to his room to read and make his notes for the important engagement the next morning before retiring early for the day.


Daaji said that most worries arise out of attachment and not due to concern, the cause being overthinking. One must take things as if everything is fine.

Daaji spent the day with various activities, like cooking for his grandchildren and attending an event to support women financially. His lifestyle reflects the simplicity of the life of a visionary who is changing the world with his heart.

Kanha Shantivanam 17th April 2023

Daaji arrived at the meditation hall around 7:30 am and conducted meditation from 7:32 am to 8 am. After the profound meditation session, Daaji solemnized six weddings:
1. Manjusha and Kaushik from Hyderabad
2. Poonam from Nainital and Anshul from Kanha
3. Pooja from Mirzapur and Abhishek from Kanha
4. Deeksha and Ravi from Hyderabad
5. Dolly from Asansol and Rajagopalan from Taiwan
6. Priyadarshini and Vijay from Coimbatore


After this, Daaji returned home to Gokul Point. Upon reaching home, Daaji observed the ingredients for Green Salt preparation - ajwain, oregano, thyme, and basil - which had been kept outside for drying. 


Daaji had invited a couple from New Jersey for breakfast. Over breakfast, he gently and subtly taught Devaki by making her serve at the table. It was truly the wisdom bridge in action! Later, Meera and Arjun (the kids of the couple) spent time with Daaji along with his grandchildren Nanak and Laya.

Around 9:15 am, IAS officers Rani Kumudini and Ronald Rose met Daaji and invited him as a special guest for the "Civil Services Day 2023" event planned for April 21st, 2023, which he graciously accepted. Ronald Rose asked Daaji how the North India trip went, to which he replied that it was very productive. During the conversation, he shared his ideas on the problem of the expanding desert in the Aravalis. There is a need for all the affected states to come together and work in coordination to avoid future disasters. Daaji said he would like to host the chief ministers of all five states - Gujarat, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, and Punjab - to create a united initiative crossing all boundaries, for the good of the country. He said that it is fair to fight like hell during elections, but post that we must work together for the good of the people and the country. 

The rest of the day for Daaji was busy with a few meetings. Sometime in the afternoon, Daaji explained the key role rain guns play in our Kanha forests. Leaves are the lungs of trees. Dust accumulation on leaves blocks their pores and affects the gas exchange between plants and trees and the atmosphere. This chokes and slows down the tree's chemical processes. The rain guns spray water to remove the dust and support the leaves in carrying out their work day and night. 

Daaji's attention to detail and his keen interest to bring a scientific approach to every aspect of life are very simple and special qualities.  We all can learn and imbibe them in our lives too.


Later, while discussing one of the complaints raised by corrupt officers linked to blocking the expansion of the water bodies around Kanha, Daaji said, "Look for lessons from the Mahabharata. The end justifies the means as long it is for the right purpose." Daaji asked the guests if they had breakfast and then took them to the dining room to eat.


In the evening, Daaji went for a walk, all the while observing the health of plants all around. After the walk, he conducted a meditation session from 7:06 pm to 7:17 pm. Thereafter, he recorded a message for TANA (Telugu Association of North America) and shared his input on a few interesting topics.


Look for lessons from the Mahabharata. The end justifies the means as long it is for the right purpose.

Daaji spent a relaxing day at Kanha Shanti Vanam. During the day, he attended a few meetings and also, spent some time with abhyasis.

Kanha Shantivanam 16th April 2023

Daaji left Yog Gram around 7.30 AM and proceeded to Baba Ramdev ji's place, Sant Kutir. En route, Daaji stopped at the Patanjali Megastore located in the Patanjali University premises at around 8.20 am as Babaji was engaged in a live program with India Today. He was amazed to see the size and functioning of the store and did some shopping for his grandchildren. After spending about twenty minutes there, he left for Sant Kutir and reached there in ten minutes.


He was given a warm welcome by Babaji and his associates. After a short discussion, Babaji requested Daaji to conduct a meditation session. Babaji then took Daaji, accompanying guests and his associates to the small cave for the meditation session. As soon as everyone settled, Daaji asked Babaji to conduct the meditation session which He would observe. Babaji conducted the meditation session for fifteen minutes after which Daaji asked everyone to proceed to breakfast while He gave the final permission sitting to Sadhvi Devpriya ji.

Daaji and Babaji joined for breakfast later around 10 am. What followed was almost 45 mins of non-stop love and joyous fun-filled moments. Daaji and Babaji fed each other with their own hands. It was an inexpressible joy to watch both of them. During the conversation, Babaji asked Daaji about the water bottle that he always carries with him. Daaji shared that it is a special bottle that is not available in India and affectionately gifted it to Babaji. The mutual respect and affection between both of them was a joy to behold. It was a joyful stay throughout and Babaji assured Daaji that every support from Patanjali organization in terms of technical knowhow and committed persons would be extended to our wellness centers.


This was a landmark moment that held great significance in cementing the association between Shri Ram Chandra Mission and Patanjali Yogpeeth.
Babaji’s concern and love for Daaji and Daaji’s affection for him were evident throughout Daaji‘s stay there. Baba ji often expressed that though he was Daaji for the whole world, he was Dadaji for him. It was heartwarming to see how love and blessings flowed freely from the heart of our Master towards the open hearts there. It was a lesson for all, in how humility and simplicity can transform anyone and bring them to the feet of the Great Beloved Master.

When Daaji was about to leave, all the brother associates had a group photo with Daaji and Babaji. One of the sisters said "Daaji Beheno ka bhi ek group photo ho toh acha rahega" (it would be nice if all sisters could have one group picture as well). Daaji moved away to the other side and said, “Lelo bhai beheno ka photo” (take a picture of the sisters). Everyone started to laugh out loud at this spontaneous act of Daaji. She then laughingly told Daaji, "Aap ke sath group photo!" (a photo with you!). Daaji obliged and posed for a photograph with them. Such light and unforgettable moments reflected the love that he poured into the simple hearts - something that all would remember for a long time.

After spending this wonderful time, moments of joy, and numerous meditation sessions with Baba Ramdev ji and his associates at Sant Kutir, Daaji shared with them that though he didn't feel like leaving, it was time for him to continue his onward journey to meet the loving hearts waiting for him at Dehradun.


Daaji left the place at 10:45 AM and reached the beautiful Heartfulness Centre of Dehradun located at Yogashram, Paundha village at 12.34 pm. Children and abhyasis- young and old alike who had been awaiting him eagerly, welcomed him with flowers, joy, and smiles, pouring all their love in a simple way.

Daaji lovingly offered prasad to Babuji Maharaj in the cottage upon reaching Dehradun and gave it to all present there. Thereafter Daaji headed straight to the meditation hall and conducted Satsang from 12.42 pm to 1 pm, after which he went to rest.



Everyone started preparing themselves and it was a full day of blissful meditation as seekers took meditation sessions from trainers throughout the day in preparation for the evening group meditation.

Daaji rested well and conducted group meditation in the evening at 5:30 PM. It was a deep meditation followed by a talk. He spoke about a general misunderstanding around prayer regarding the goal. Saying that God is the real goal does not mean that one cannot have multiple goals (like becoming a doctor, lawyer, good marriage, having kids, etc) and there is nothing wrong with it. But the way planets circle around the sun and do not waver from their orbit, do not take their focus off the sun and the sun has become the center of the solar system - in that manner God has to become the center of our existence. The other material goals can be in the periphery. But unfortunately in our current life, we make unwanted material things the center of our life and keep God in the periphery.  This becomes the problem. We are not asked to leave the world or material life, but it is only when we make God the center of our existence, we can say with confidence that 'Thou(God) Art the Real Goal (of Human Life).

The second line of the prayer about desires does not mean one may not have any.  He jokingly gave the example of wanting to take a shower at Dehradun as the water there is very good, but when he went to take it, there wasn't any water. So his desire to be clean cannot be kept away. Similarly, the desire of having kids post-marriage isn't wrong but we are wrong when we emphasize that we want only a boy or girl.  We insist upon God that we want results as per our expectations alone and that is where all the problems arise.

He mentioned that he had seen kids argue that they had mundane desires which the system forbade and therefore left it.  But when we move towards the feeling of surrender, we accept things as they are. As we evolve in spiritual pursuit we develop a feeling towards God stating that if we have kids it is fine and if not, let it be as per His wish. Similarly, the desire to eat is good but the insistence upon a particular type of food alone is a problem.

The third line of the prayer indicates that the feeling of “I am nothing” has to arise. Without it, the spiritual yatra would be empty. Our demands would never be fulfilled because we are arguing or challenging God to fulfill them; only surrender can bring about profound results. Giving the example of stubborn demands coming from kids towards their parents for basic things such as the phone to a specific iPhone, he said that keeping conditions is not right with God. When we as parents do not like it, why should we push it on God? He (God) has given us freedom and made himself free from it too. It is our duty to give him freedom as well.

After the evening session, Daaji named a baby girl Dev Priya on his way back to the cottage.

Afterwards he met four active young seeker volunteers at the center and decided to prepare them to become preceptors. He also met a couple who had come to start meditation that day and a few other seekers and officials. During the conversation, he mentioned that the name of a seeker does not matter to him in a way. One is just lucky that noble souls are there and the feelings they arouse in the heart are all that matter. He gave a sitting to all present and then went to rest.

The day was filled with joyous activities, including Daaji’s visit to Sant Kutir and the Dehradun Heartfulness Ashram. The time Daaji spent with Baba Ramdev Ji is going to be marked as a historical moment when two great souls come together and create bliss. 


Sant Kutir Dehradun Ashram 5th April 2023

Daaji had a disturbed sleep and woke early at 6:40 AM. After a bath and papaya, coffee and snacks, He went for a walk within the compound. As usual many joined Daaji on his walk. He returned soon thereafter, and upon being asked if all was well, He jokingly replied that he may have developed a human allergy. It was a subtle reminder to all of us that he needed to walk alone peacefully at times.


At around 9 AM, Baba Ramdev ji and Sadhavi Devamaya ji joined him after their live TV programs. Daaji conducted a meditation session for about 30 minutes before breakfast. In a discussion that ensued, Daaji spoke about not having slept too well as vibrations of the previous occupant of the room had affected him. Daaji went on to share that we normally think that memory (smriti), remains in the brain. But it is not so. It remains in the atmosphere as well. Otherwise, how would the previous occupant’s desires and hopes have come from the bed into his head? Baba Ramdev ji continued the discussion, sharing that the whole universe is energy, and matter and energy are interrelated- different forms of matter being nothing but combinations of energy- to which Daaji agreed and said that everything is vibrations. Babaji went on to share that when he makes people do pranayama, he encourages them to give themselves positive thoughts, positive force and vibrations, that they are being healed in the process.

He spoke about a girl who had healed herself of breast cancer in just two months and a man who was healed of liver cirrhosis in just fourteen days with this technique. Daaji laughed and said that the disease had evaporated and expressed that he wanted to do it too. Even science now accepts this to be true.

Breakfast time was full of joyful moments. Daaji had liked the mulberries served to him the day before and had them again for breakfast. He was served by Babaji and his associates affectionately throughout his stay there- again, humble learning in respect and hospitality. After breakfast, a discussion followed on 'manan' (contemplation) as different from 'soach' (thinking), the former being a 360-degree expansion with no limitations, compared to the latter. Daaji then shared a few aspects about the research of Lalaji Maharaj on breathing trouble in the lungs.

Baba Ramdev ji recommended some treatment for Daaji to which he agreed. He also put forward a plan to visit the various parts of the Patanjali campuses in the evening that day. Further, they both discussed a few more plans. After some time, Shri Kamlesh ji (Salt man) visited Daaji and Baba Ramdev ji. He showed Babaji the different salt products that were produced and distributed through Heartyculture. Daaji presented Baba Ramdev ji with the Heartyculture Nasal Cleanse Kit and added that he prayed that he (Babaji) would never be in a position where he needed to use it.  After the meetings, Daaji was given some ayurvedic treatment by Baba Ramdev ji's associates following which he went to rest for the afternoon.


The evening was reserved for a special tour of the Patanjali Food Limited industries. Daaji left at 4:45 PM and reached the location where Babaji had been awaiting him eagerly. Baba Ramdevji took him on a tour of the whole facility driving him in his own car and showing him the various manufacturing and packaging units. During the tour, Daaji stopped to taste some interesting Ayurvedic food items. It was an amusing moment, where watching everyone look longingly at the items being tasted, Daaji jokingly asked the items to be given to them as their mouths were watering.
 
Daaji returned to Yog Gram by 8:45 PM, had dinner, and retired for the day.

Daaji remained at the ashram with Baba Ramdev ji and listened to the effects of positive thoughts and how their predominance has eradicated fatal diseases even in a matter of days in the followers of Babaji. He also enjoyed a tour of Ayurvedic manufacturing and packaging units.

A live journal of blessed activities in and around Kanha with Daaji

20 AprilDaaji reached the Raipur ashram early in the evening. He conducted meditation at 6 pm, after which he retired for the day.

21 AprilIt is a short walk from the cottage in the ashram to the meditation hall, and as Daaji made his way to the hall to conduct the morning meditation, he was greeted by many abhyasis. After the meditation Daaji left for breakfast, and by the time he finished his meal, many abhyasis trickled in and the dining hall was soon filled with people.One sister asked Daaji what one should do when there is no support from the family and it becomes difficult to practise. In response, Daaji gave the example of his preceptor, Draupadi Devi Agarwal, from whom he had taken his very first sitting. He explained how she would pretend to be asleep early in the morning and meditate while lying under the quilt, and in the evening, under the pretext of going to the toilet, she would do her evening cleaning there. Daaji said matter-of-factly, “Jisko karna hai, usko kaun rokega? (If someone truly wants to do it, who can stop them?).”A young girl talked with Daaji about her studies abroad. Daaji asked her her age and if she was married. She responded by saying that she was only 26 and wanted to wait for some more time before she got married. Daaji smiled and said, “Tujhe jaldi nahi hai, lekin Nature ko jaldi hai! (You are not in a hurry, but Nature is.)”Daaji then asked all the members of the kitchen team for a group photo. After meeting with a few more abhyasis, Daaji left. In the evening he conducted meditation at 6 pm.

22 April 2025Around 10.30 am, Daaji met a few members of the Tukdoji Maharaj spiritual organization. Daaji spoke to them for a while and then conducted a meditation session.The evening program featured a visit by the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, and an interview with Tarang Khurana, National Chairman of Young Indians (Yi)—an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry, established in 2002 as a pan-India platform to empower the youth in realizing the vision of a developed nation.Daaji welcomed the Chief Minister, and after a warm exchange of felicitations, they sat down for a tête-à-tête. Also present there was a group of Yi members. Daaji spoke about the various Heartfulness initiatives, followed by a Brighter Minds demonstration. Later, Daaji accompanied him to the meditation hall, where, before conducting meditation, he gave a brief explanation of how to meditate the Heartfulness way.After the meditation, Daaji presented books and gifts to the Chief Minister. The CM then took his leave from the meditation hall. Daaji remained there to continue with the scheduled interview with Tarang Khurana from Young Indians.Here are some excerpts from the interview.Q: Keeping in mind the awareness for climate consciousness and the need to take action toward it, what suggestions do you have for our youth to bring about these changes in their daily lives so we can leave a better world for our future progeny? &nbsp;Daaji: It is a great feeling to have the youth being exposed to Heartfulness which is a way of life guided by the heart. And whenever we are guided by the heart, we become extra sensitive to our conscience—should I do this or that? Should I invest money here or not? Whom to marry? Whenever you follow the mind, it tricks you into fulfilling your own selfish desires. Whenever you have gone against the heart and followed the mind, observe the consequences. To get clearer and clearer solutions from your heart, the lens of your heart must be clear too. The main thing we have to understand is ‘how do I get the right message from the heart?’ So firstly, create purity in the heart. We can sail through complicated situations in life, only when we follow the heart.There are no guide books to help navigate us through life. Osho’s story about a thief describes this very well. (Watch Daaji narrate the story in the link below)A presence of mind is required in every situation. And every situation in life throws a different kind of curve ball at us. Just like in cricket, if you are used to batting against only a certain kind of bowling, it would have been easy. But now and then there will be a different kind of bowling—with a different speed, with a spin, full toss and so on.&nbsp; So life throws different curve balls at us, but a meditative mind picks up the problems often before they arise. Meditation to me thus, is like vaccinating the mind against many situations.Q: Young people say, ‘Our time is now. Time for meditation will come later.’ How do we, as young people, come sooner to this side of spirituality and why is it important that we do this? &nbsp;Daaji:&nbsp;According to me, the spiritual journey should begin at the very moment of conception. Imagine for a moment that you are retired, 60 or 70 years old. Would you be able to meditate? Would you be able to sit—at already such a young age you have taken up chairs. Imagine yourself at 60+. Would you be able to sit properly, even in the chair, with your back erect? When you cannot even remember things, how will you remember the continuity of your spiritual experiences which are so refined? So I would not recommend you to postpone the most essential thing. Think about it in a scientific manner: a genetically pre-exposed spiritual man or spiritual woman and their respective progeny. If you become spiritualized at the age of 70, how can you transfer your genetic pre-exposure to your next generation? If you want to transmit your spiritual bent of mind to the future generation, you better be spiritual even before you get married.

23 AprilOn the day of his departure from Raipur, Daaji conducted meditation early in the morning and after breakfast he met with many abhyasis in his room, one group at a time. Amidst many fond farewells, each group had a photo taken with Daaji. He then left Raipur for Kanha at around 10 am.

In April 2025, Daaji visited the Raipur Ashram in Chhattisgarh and shared his profound philosophies with the abhyasis present there. 

Raipur, Chhattisgarh, 20th to 23rd April, 2025

The following day began with Daaji offering yet another beautiful meditation session in the early morning. After a profound Heartfulness meditation session that was telecast live on the Heartfulness channel, Daaji invited Mr. Linguswamy to give a talk. His talk revolved around his experiences with the Heartfulness meditation practice and its transformative effect. He expressed his gratitude to Daaji referring to him as a ‘real hero.’&nbsp;This was followed by a heartwarming Q&amp;A session with Daaji. His words resonated deeply with the eager practitioners, leaving everyone inspired and deeply moved.&nbsp; &nbsp;

Later that evening, Daaji welcomed a group of practitioners from the Baduga tribal community of Ooty, a beautiful hill station nestled in the Nilgiri mountain range. Their hearts were deeply touched as Daaji interacted with them personally. His gentle words and affectionate demeanor created an unforgettable experience for the community members. He ended the meeting with a promise saying, “I will come soon to Ooty,” filling their hearts with even more joy! He then posed for a group photo with them.&nbsp;Many dignitaries had come to meet Daaji in Tiruppur: Mr. V. Sundararajan, Chairman of Sky Group of Companies and the Founder Secretary of Vanam Foundation, Palladam, Tiruppur District; the Founder Director of the Coconut Farmers Producer Company; and Mr. K. R. Nagarajan who is the Chairman of the Ramraj Cotton Group of Companies and Vice President of the World Community Service Center.&nbsp;Daaji met with Padma Shri Dr. A. Sakthivel, Chairman, Poppy's Group of Companies and Honorary, Founder President, Tiruppur Exporters Association (TEA); the President of Federation of Indian Exporters Organizations (FIEO); and Mr. N. Thirukkumaran Managing Director, Ess Tee Group of Companies and General Secretary, Tiruppur Exporters Association (TEA). Daaji also met with Mr. Kumar Duraiswamy who is the Managing Director, Eastern Global Clothings, the Joint Secretary of Tiruppur Exporters Association (TEA), and also the Project Director, 'Vanathukkul Tiruppur' - Initiatives of Green Tiruppur; and the Convenor, Tiruppur Stakeholders Forum (TSF).&nbsp;&nbsp;After a brief discussion with them on varied initiatives Daaji then asked for the Brighter Minds demonstration to be presented to all the guests.&nbsp; Later they all joined Daaji for the evening Heartfulness meditation session, after which he gave a talk that touched every heart present in the audience. Daaji expressed his joy saying, “My stay here at DJ Park has been very productive and I admire your sacrifice for coming here despite so many inconveniences. Returning home you will notice even greater changes that will unfold in your day-to-day lives because of these three meditation sessions. Tomorrow I will be returning back home but my heart will always remain here and I intend to come back hopefully on the 11th November.”&nbsp;Touching upon the topic of peace, Daaji reminisced about Babuji Maharaj’s letter to the United Nations dated July&nbsp;8, 1957 where Babuji emphasized that world peace cannot be possible until individual peace is granted. Daaji said, “And who can grant this individual peace? No one, but yourself. It’s an individual attitude: a person under turbulence can remain unshaken and a person without any sort of problems remains stressful and anxious. Our path, the Heartfulness way is a direct gift from the Divine because through this&nbsp;pranahuti or transmission all willing practitioners are able to experience a minimum level of peace.”Daaji threw light on the intricacies of how attaining liberation during this lifetime can take us to that state of non-duality whose inherent quality is peace. He also differentiated the peace that one attains before liberation at the Atma chakra [2nd point in the heart region] and the peace experienced beyond the 9th point.&nbsp; He said, “There is no solution in asking or praying for peace. Liberation is in our hands: no God or Guru can grant it if we are not deserving. So our only job is to become deserving individuals.”Daaji also gave simple solutions as to how one can become deserving individuals. He then went on to reveal, “something that most people have not understood in the very first chapter of&nbsp;Reality at Dawn.” Daaji divulged the true interpretation of Babuji Maharaj’s very profound statement –&nbsp;Where religion ends, spirituality begins; where spirituality ends, reality begins; where reality ends, bliss begins.&nbsp;By linking the intricate concepts of God, divine experiences, desires and transcendence, Daaji clarified the meaning of this statement.

Tiruppur 21st October 2024

Despite the heavy downpour from the previous night, the ashram was serene and prepared for the day's events. After the meditation session, Daaji solemnized three weddings in a simple ceremony.&nbsp;<ul><li>Disha and Abhishek</li><li>Astha and Kshitij</li><li>Garima and Sandeep</li></ul>

He returned to the cottage for breakfast, joined by a few guests, including Dr. Kannan, affectionately known as ‘Sanskrit Kannan’ within the Heartfulness community. Their conversation revolved around Dr. Kannan's ongoing study of Vedic texts in the light of Heartfulness teachings, a rich dialogue blending ancient wisdom with the spiritual depth of the Heartfulness approach.

Later in the day, Daaji embarked on the journey to the next destination – Tiruppur. By the time he arrived at the DJ Park Ashram in Tiruppur in the evening, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation and eagerness on behalf of the practitioners assembled there. While Daaji was conducting the evening meditation, it began to rain heavily. Many viewed this as a divine affirmation; as if the spiritual hierarchy above was rejoicing alongside the practitioners, their joy mirrored by the rain.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Daaji spent his day solemnizing weddings, discussing Vedic texts and traveling to Tiruppur. 

Chennai and Tiruppur 20th October 2024

Daaji began his day early, looking forward to continue his journey to Chennai. He invited a few Heartfulness practitioners to join him for breakfast, where they discussed plans for the days ahead.&nbsp;His first stop upon reaching Chennai was the Heartfulness International School, Omega branch. There, Daaji launched several important initiatives and took time to meet with school officials. During his speech, he shared his vision to open more such Heartfulness schools across India, calling upon educators within and outside the Heartfulness community to contribute to this noble cause.&nbsp;In response to student inquiries about following one's heart, Daaji answered with his characteristic warmth and clarity, encouraging the youth to trust their inner guidance which is greatly enhanced when nourished by a sincere Heartfulness practice. He explained how a meditative practice strengthens this inner connection, allowing one to navigate life with a deeper sense of purpose.

From there, Daaji proceeded to the Babuji Memorial Ashram in Manapakkam, where hundreds of Heartfulness practitioners from Chennai and nearby centers lined the roads, welcoming him with love and devotion.&nbsp;&nbsp;Daaji enjoyed a hearty South Indian lunch and after a brief rest, he conducted the evening meditation. Several celebrities from the Tamil film industry had been invited to experience Heartfulness meditation by Mr. N. Lingusamy, a Heartfulness trainer and renowned movie director.Daaji inaugurated the Tamil Nadu Youth Seminar with the theme ‘Awaken Your Inner Potential’ with an inspiring talk after meditation. This was followed by an engaging Q&amp;A session with the young participants. Daaji encouraged them to embrace Heartfulness practices with dedication, urging them to research the effects of following one’s heart versus ignoring it. He emphasized that with a consistent meditation routine, they could develop a courageous spirit capable of navigating life's challenges.

As Daaji made his way back to the cottage, a large crowd gathered, each one vying for his attention. Daaji often lovingly reminds everyone that there is no need to struggle for this external attention. He has mentioned that true connection arises from cultivating an inner state of deservingness, where the deep silence of the heart prepares one to receive Divine grace. In this state, the flow of yogic transmission becomes natural and automatic. He gently but firmly asked everyone to leave, before retiring to the cottage for a quiet dinner.This day was filled with moments of deep connection, reflection, and inspiration, as Daaji continued to share the message of Heartfulness with all those who came to meet him.

Thiruvallur and Chennai 19th October 2024

The following morning saw Daaji rise early to meet more practitioners who with eager hearts had gathered at the hotel to greet him before he left for the venue. The day began with a group meditation, where Daaji, with his signature calm, shared what he had felt during the meditation in his heart. He beautifully explained how once we begin our yogic practice, it is crucial to bring it to completion. Often, it is the unfinished tasks that leaves us with the trauma of regret and guilt, which can be practically impossible to erase.His thoughts flowed like a calm river carrying a deep current of spiritual insight. Leading a holistic lifestyle has been a central theme in Daaji’s talks and work. He emphasized the importance of working on ourselves, making sure not to leave anything unfinished: for a sincere yogi, it is important to note that doing the right thing is a triumph, but neglecting to do the right thing at the right moment can be far more detrimental to one’s spiritual progress.The essence of Heartfulness is to live without creating unnecessary&nbsp;samskaras or mental impressions that weigh us down on our spiritual journey.&nbsp;Akarma, which translates from Sanskrit as action performed with pure love and without attachment, is the ideal state for a spiritual aspirant. The riddles of life – what to do, what not to do, and how to live in the best way – were unraveled by Daaji with ease, making the profound seem simple and achievable.Daaji spoke about the need for self-restraint and how living a life absorbed in divine remembrance can reduce the need for the evening Heartfulness Cleaning practice. When we are truly absorbed in the presence of the Divine, we think and perform actions without creating new imprints on our consciousness. This intensity of practice can help us lead a life of inner peace and harmony.Before leaving, Daaji said that he would have stayed a few days longer if he could have. However, he promised to return soon. He shared how a spiritual guide finds joy in being with sincere and absorbing hearts, ready to deepen their practice and apply the teachings of Heartfulness in their daily lives.

On his way, Daaji made a surprise visit to a Heartfulness trainer’s sari shop. By the time he reached Thiruvallur, Chennai had recovered enough from the heavy rains, and preparations were in full swing to receive him. Interestingly, the rain seemed to follow him, pouring down in Hosur and Vellore after his departure, as though nature itself was in tune with the spiritual energy he emanates. Several thousand practitioners from nearby centers had gathered there, their hearts open and ready to receive their beloved guide.After entering the cottage, Daaji went to his room for a quiet moment to offer&nbsp;prasad. [Sweets offered with an attitude of reverence and in remembrance of the Divine. The sweets are divinized by this infusion of love and reverence, creating an osmosis between what is offered and the one to whom it is being offered.]&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;After the prasad was distributed, the practitioners made their way to the hall for a meditation session while Daaji took some much-needed rest. Over high tea, Daaji met with a few practitioners, before making his way to inaugurate the Heartfulness International School in Thiruvalllur.&nbsp;This special moment was marked by the first official admission to the school, which was performed by Daaji personally. He then conducted another group meditation in the main hall, followed by a lively and engaging interaction with the practitioners gathered there. Later during dinner, Daaji met with more practitioners before retiring for the night.&nbsp;

Daaji spoke about the need for self-restraint and how living a life absorbed in divine remembrance can reduce the need for the evening Heartfulness Cleaning practice.
