Kanha Shantivanam 28th April 2023

Daaji met Br. Megharam and Br. Tejsingh from Sikar and discussed a proposal to buy some additional land for the extension of the ashram land up to the base of the Aravali hills. Daaji also met a few students of Kanha Coaching Centre who had come to seek his blessings before their exams due in a couple of days. Daaji had a discussion with the in-house team on the structure of our organisation and the location of various facilities for the upcoming wellness centre project.

A brother trainer who was about to leave after the trainers’ seminar then asked Daaji for permission to depart. Daaji asked him if it was really important to go and why everyone could not stay and attend the Bhandara. Referring to his address to the trainers at the end of the seminar a day ago, he indicated his disappointment at people not understanding his suggestions to stay back. It is pertinent to note that on many occasions, Daaji has clarified the mental approach to attending a Bhandara. It is important to come at least two days before the bhandara begins and immerse oneself in the spirit and spiritual states to derive the most from one’s presence there. He has guided us to ensure that we attend all the meditation sessions over the three days of the Bhandara without missing a single session and without attempting to find any shortcut to attending.
The day began with Daaji conducting meditation in the meditation hall from 9 am to 9.31 am. It was a deep and blissful meditation with around 4650 seekers attending the meditation session. After the meditation, Daaji met many seekers in his office backstage. Br Megharam and Br Tejsingh from Sikar met Daaji and discussed a proposal to buy some additional land adjoining the recently acquired land, for the extension of the ashram land up to the base of the Aravali hills. After the discussion, Daaji asked for the preparation and submission of a detailed report on the plan. Daaji met a few students of Kanha Coaching Centre who had come to seek his blessings before their exams due in a couple of days. He invited all of them for lunch and then left for Kanha Sarovar and spent some time there. After returning home, Daaji was busy with a few more meetings and later went to rest. After a brief rest, he met the students around 1:30 pm, where the conversation moved to their choice of subjects and mode of preparation for exams. After lunch, he conducted a short meditation for the students.
Around 2.20 pm after the students left, Daaji monitored the health of the plants around and then asked to give the nutrient-rich ‘Miracle Grow' product to all the plants around the house.
In the evening, Daaji had a discussion with the in-house team on the structure of our organisation and the location of various facilities for the upcoming wellness centre project. Daaji took the team to the Welcome Lounge area and walked around, inspecting the upcoming project sites. He later went to the cottage area, sandalwood plantation site, star building, and cricket ground and then went for a walk until 7 p.m. On the way back, Daaji stopped the car and greeted all the seekers waiting to meet him near his home.
After dinner, Daaji had a meeting on the upcoming projects in Madhya Pradesh and then went to rest around 10 p.m.
