Kanha Shantivanam 7th May 2023

Daaji began conducting meditation on Sunday, with approximately 2,254 practitioners present in the meditation hall, including the "Majhe Gaon Heartful Gaon" team. Daaji solemnised eight weddings after the meditation. On his approach to his automobile, Daaji saw a number of seekers. One of the couples that came to meet Daaji requested that he conduct Annaprashan for their kid. Daaji performed Annaprashan. Daaji visited Dr. Vikas Bhatia, Director, AIIMS, Hyderabad, and a few other guests in the evening at the meditation hall, where they discussed science-related topics. Later, speakers from Krishi Parivar discussed with Daaji Bhumi Suposan (soil enrichment), farming practises, and other topics.

In the evening, around 5 p.m., Daaji came to the meditation hall office to meet some guests: Dr. Vikas Bhatia, Director, AIIMS, Hyderabad; Manoj Solanki, Adhyaksh-Akshay Bharatiya Krishi Parivar, RSS India; Dr. B Gunakar, General Secretary, Bharatiya Krishi Parivar, RSS; and Shri Suresh Ganpatrao Wagmare, Member of Parliament (MP), Wardha, Maharashtra. Dr. Bhatia informed Daaji that it was his first time on campus and experiencing meditation, and that he had just been touring the campus since morning. He also expressed that he is feeling peaceful and calm within. Daaji said it was because of the mediation that he had. Later, Daaji spoke about Dr. Srinivasan, Director, AIMS, Delhi, and how he keeps coming to Kanha, is part of the family, and has taken on some research projects.
It was a Sunday, with a large number of practitioners present in Kanha for the weekend. Daaji conducted morning meditation from 7.34 a.m. to 8.10 a.m. There were around 2,254 practitioners present in the meditation hall, including the team from "Majhe Gaon Heartful Gaon" (My Village is a Heartful Village) from Maharashtra and villagers from 22 districts. Present on the occasion were: Shri Popatrao Pawar, Padma Shri Awardee; Smt. Sarika Dafare; Shri Gunwanta Dafare; and Shri Kishore Dube, Maharashtra State Coordinator for Heartfulness
After the meditation, Daaji solemnised eight weddings. 1. Savita Shriya from Hyderabad and Chaithanya from Madanapalle 2. Shivangi and Mayank from Thiruvananthapuram 3. Natasha from Goa and Lokesh from Atlanta 4. Swetha and Anay from Toronto 5. Pooja from Lucknow and Mugundan from Chennai 6. Pulkita and Vishnu from Gurgaon 7. Pranjal from Chandrapur and Varun from Nagpur 8. Praveena and Omkar from Pune After the weddings, Daaji met many seekers on the way to his car. One of the couples asked him to perform the Annaprashan (rice-feeding ceremony) for their baby boy. Daaji performed the Annaprashan and, looking at Nanak, his grandson, said, "Nanu, look, this baby is having food for the first time." After meeting and greeting all the waiting practitioners, Daaji finally left for home. For the most part of the day, there were many visiting seekers who wanted to meet Daaji and take his leave to return home.
Later during the discussion, Daaji mentioned, "I’m more towards prevention than cure."   Dr. Bhatia updated Daaji about his plans to adopt a few villages and help them in medical health, research, and so on. He also wanted to teach meditation to all the students, the youngsters, the housekeeping, and the entire staff, to which Daaji said, "You have to make it mandatory, actually. Otherwise, they won’t do it. The moment they come, at least for 10 minutes, they should close their eyes and meditate, and later on reflect on what they are going to do today."   Daaji gave an example from AIMS Delhi and how Dr. Srinivas ji was informing them that all the security people and the ancillary staff, who used to tell people, Hey, go there, go here, etc." in a harsh manner, are now doing Namaskaram (respectful greeting) to people and have grown softer. This was after they started meditation.   Later, guests from Krishi Parivar spoke with Daaji about Bhumi Suposan (soil enrichment), the techniques they are using for cultivation, and several other things. Daaji suggested that they start using biochar to yield more crops and increase soil fertility. Later, they said that they are trying to turn their villages into model villages but are facing a few challenges and looking for some changes.   Daaji then said, "There is nothing to change. Suppose there’s a doctor who wants to move towards spirituality; will he leave his profession? It’s a mental attitude. Whenever you do your work, connect with God, and your work will become spiritual. That’s all."   Daaji then asked if all who were present could sit for meditation and conducted a group meditation session from 5.15 pm to 5.34 pm. After the meditation session, Dr. Bhatia invited Daaji to visit the AIIMS Hyderabad campus and interact with the students and staff. Daaji asked Dr. Bhatia to start the meditation sessions and programmes, and once everything was settled, he would surely visit the campus.   When Dr. Bhatia expressed his interest in teaching yoga and meditation to the villagers, Daaji asked him to send 2-3 individuals from every village to Kanha, where they would be trained in yoga, pranayama, and other techniques that they could pursue in their respective villages.   The conversation moved towards science-related topics.   At the mention of fMRI scanning, Daaji asked the group present if they had seen the Brighter Minds demonstration and went on to say that he had been listening to some courses on memory and the neurological aspect of various memory centres. Daaji: "We know the cognitive part is the frontal cortex, but it’s very difficult, if not impossible, to find the centre for intuition. And what these children are doing is based on intuition."   Daaji then said, "You know, once you put them in there in the tunnel (fMRI scanning tunnel) and then make them do the exercise, automatically, that part of the brain that is related to intuition will shine, and you are headed for a Noble Prize." To everyone’s astonishment, Daaji was serious about the Nobel, as nobody in the history of the world has ever found the centre for intuition so far.   Dr. Bhatia expressed that sitting there at that moment, he felt so vibrant, and his entire body was feeling vibrations—of a kind that is totally different and which can only be understood when people visit Kanha and meditate. He wished for his entire team to visit Kanha.   Daaji said, "And if they continue their practise, when they go back and see daily changes, observe, it is fascinating, actually. And imagine the trajectory after 40 years of meditation: they become super-human beings."   Dr. Bhatia then said that he had seen the beautiful conference halls in Kanha and wished to organise programmes for all the doctors from AIIMS on the holistic approach of meditation.  Daaji later spoke about polarity and asked everyone to undergo a polarity session. He said it’s almost magical and that polarity instantly changes the aura of a person, and he asked Dr. Sangeetha Sampath to take up research on polarity along with Dr. Natwar, who was already working on this subject.
Daaji named a baby girl 'Mamta' and then took leave from all and left for Kanha Sarovar. There, he walked for a while and then returned home around 7 p.m. During the walk, Daaji mentioned how grace flows towards preceptors while they conduct a sitting and that the preceptors would receive immense benefits from the sittings if they did their cleaning properly.
After dinner, Daaji joined a Zoom call to address practitioners from the Hindi-speaking belts on the ‘Ekatm Abhiyan’ and motivate them to register and participate in this initiative. Daaji then inquired if he had any commitments in Kanha after May 15, 2023, and then said that he himself would travel to MP for one and a half months after May 15, 2023.
