In the morning Daaji woke up early and went to work in his office writing his book. After 7 am, he went for a walk and then sat in his office.

With all that constant work, sittings, interviews, and constant flow of visitors, along with the wind whipping around in the morning while he sat in the garden for the Doordarshan interview and all, it was not a surprise that he began to feel the brunt of it in the evening.
In the morning Daaji woke up early and went to work in his office writing his book. After 7 am, he went for a walk and then sat in his office.
Shri Shankaraiah from Shadnagar joined Daaji for breakfast. K. Shankaraiah is a member of the legislative assembly from Shadnagar which is a few miles away from Kanha. They had a few discussions on several initiatives. At 10 am Daaji gave a meditation session to the people he had invited the day before including Janet Atwood and Henoc’s group of French abhyasis, Turkish members, and several others. Daaji requested a Brighter Minds demonstration to be given to all and young Kapil Naidu was invited to do the same.
Daaji then conducted meditation from 10:17 am to 10:37 am. Two guests from the Transcendental meditation group, Dr. Shailendra Mehta, Director of MICA Institute Ahmedabad, and Shri Anil Maheshwari of the Maharishi International University USA, came to pay their respects to Daaji and had a brief conversation on research with Daaji. He then gave a 35-minute interview in the garden behind his home to Doordarshan. The crew had come for the Transcendental Meditation program and had requested an interview with Daaji. After the interview, they were flabbergasted by the simplicity and clarity of his words. They said that in all their career they had never interviewed anyone like him! They took a group photograph with Daaji and gave him a book. The Turkish folks also took photographs with Daaji and so did the French. It was a let’s-make-a-memory moment of joy for all those who beamed into the clicking cameras.

With all that constant work, sittings, interviews, and constant flow of visitors, along with the wind whipping around in the morning while he sat in the garden for the Doordarshan interview and all, it was not a surprise that he began to feel the brunt of it in the evening. After working on his book for a while when he began another series of interviews in the long line of podcasts, the Spiritual Anatomy book, he simply could not continue after 5 minutes into the recording. Sadly he excused himself and went off for a bit of fresh air accompanied appropriately by his doctor, Kishore Subbu.
