Kanha Shantivanam 25th December 2023

Daaji had a Zoom call with all the functionaries of the Mission. This was followed by a meditation from 7:17 pm to 7.34 pm.

After his presentation, Daaji proposed the idea of Taluka Coordinators, youth coordinators, and village representatives and training them to maintain libraries, organize group meditation, etc. He said almost everyone has a smartphone and we can easily encourage abhyasis to keep the essential videos of Sahaj Marg practice on their phones and share them instantly.

Christmas day dawned like all others in Kanha, in deep tranquillity. Daaji discussed his new book with Sister Elizabeth Denley over the phone for a while. Sister Ruchi Vardhan of Madhya Pradesh requested Daaji for a name upon the birth of her second daughter. Daaji carefully wrote the details of the astrological details of the child’s birth and accordingly suggested two names. He suggested either Shaili or Shivani, asking sister Ruchi to pick one or the other. Ruchi was unable to make a choice, so Daaji himself finally picked Shivani as a name for the little one.

That evening Daaji had a Zoom call with all the functionaries of the Mission. This was followed by a meditation from 7:17 pm to  7.34 pm.

This call was attended by all the coordinators of the Mission from the district level to the center level. Brother Vamsi Challagula hosted the meeting and suggested that some states present one by one their work such as Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and others. Daaji began by expressing his joy that all the work done so far in taking Heartfulness to the nook and corner of the country is paying off. He requested the coordinators to take some time for reflection, much like the time taken to reflect each day before going to sleep - scanning and looking at what could be improved on in the day. Similarly, he requested the coordinators to have a look at 2023 and capture what could be improved upon and how. This they would share with some people Daaji would send to them for this discussion so that it could be consolidated and reported to Daaji later on if further action was required.

Daaji said that so much happened in the past few years. The overall progress has been rather good and time has come to refine and fine-tune the work further for more efficiency. I request some states where the work has been going on on the Ekatm Abhiyan to share the same with the other states. It was interesting to see how we began with a bang in Madhya Pradesh and then fizzled out. The volcano erupted but died down. To learn from our experience there it is important that we now apply it to our new ongoing events such as in Tamil Nadu where we will work with the speed of a tortoise rather than a hare. While also trying to gather momentum which can also happen. It is heartening to see so many people working with such devotion and enthusiasm.

Daaji then asked Brother Prakash Shesadhri to give an overview of the ongoing work in the Tamil Nadu. He gave a 10-minute presentation on the situation in Tamil Nadu. Several good initiatives were being taken there, in terms of organizing district-wise coordinators, youth coordinators, catering to rural areas, etc. Daaji spoke about how digital media could be used to take our practice to serve more people. He felt that even though he was not in favor of it as the best option it could still serve better as printed material would require time and expense to give to millions across the nation.

Daaji infused enthusiasm and joy into the coordinators with such ease that it became evident that our mission is on the edge of great and exponential growth. It is up to us to get organized and work in unison for this to happen as best as possible so that our Daaji’s incredible vision can benefit humanity in ways we could never imagine. This meeting was a lovely expression of the future that is unfolding.

Then Daaji gave a sitting to those present on the call. After the sitting, he sat in a deep silence for a while and then wished everyone goodbye.
