Kanha Shantivanam 17th January 2024

Daaji shared the joyful news that Victory Venkatesh has been appointed as one of the esteemed members of the celebrations committee for the upcoming 125th birth anniversary of Babuji Maharaj.

The very idea of feeling trauma means you are already traumatized, and it is too late to prevent it. But through a consistent meditation practice, you can prevent it from happening. Trauma can be the result of wrong decisions.

Renowned Telugu actor Victory Venkatesh had the privilege of meeting Daaji in the morning, where they spent valuable time together. During their interaction, Daaji shared the joyful news that Victory Venkatesh has been appointed as one of the esteemed members of the celebrations committee for the upcoming 125th birth anniversary of Babuji Maharaj. Graciously, Victory Venkatesh expressed his happiness and wholeheartedly agreed to contribute to this significant role in the commemoration.

In the evening, Daaji arrived to meet several practitioners in the meditation hall office. He proceeded to lead a meditation session from 6:48 p.m. to 7:13 p.m. for all those present. As Daaji was preparing to depart, two young individuals, Sulakshna Tamrakar from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, and Shreya Gupta from Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, approached him with a request to address a couple of questions.

Q: How to heal your emotional traumas and pain without being heartless?

Daaji: The very idea of feeling trauma means you are already traumatized, and it is too late to prevent it. But through a consistent meditation practice, you can prevent it from happening. Trauma can be the result of wrong decisions.

Trauma often arises not as a result of an individual's faults but rather due to external influences imposed upon them by others, which they cannot control. However, one can learn to deflect it. By maintaining a meditative state, you can mitigate its impact and gain genuine understanding. It's crucial to recognize that if others misunderstand you, it's not your fault. Additionally, the choice of companionship is paramount. Interactions with people, regardless of intent, can potentially cause harm, whether directly or indirectly. Thus, selecting the right company, starting from an early age, becomes imperative for personal well-being.

Q: How do we take control over our anxious minds?

Daaji: Even upon completion of our tasks, a sense of emptiness often lingers, stemming from our expectations of favorable outcomes. Yet, when results fail to align with our hopes, we must perceive them as blessings. The path they lead us down may hold unforeseen opportunities. Reflecting on my own journey, I aspired to become a doctor, but due to a few percentages, I could not get admission in medicine studies. My father veered me towards the pharmacy instead. This redirection, though initially disappointing, revealed itself as a hidden blessing. While, as a doctor, I may have been confined to serving under another, within the realm of pharmacy, I found the capacity to establish multiple outlets. Through this, I could delegate responsibilities to others and navigate a more flexible lifestyle. Embracing what unfolds before us with equanimity is crucial, as anxiety serves no purpose. We must strive to fulfill our duties diligently while surrendering to the guidance of the Master, relinquishing control, and allowing destiny to unfold as it may, saying, “May Thy will be done.”.

Q: How do we not let our deep fear win over our minds?

Daaji: Rely entirely on the Master and observe the transformations He brings into our lives. By surrendering to His will, life becomes unburdened and light. Even in moments of failure, it's essential to embrace the lesson it offers. Refusal to accept failure only prolongs the pain, whereas acceptance fosters growth and resilience. Think of it as recalibrating oneself for greater challenges. If one cannot handle minor stresses, they'll never dare to tackle larger ones. It's akin to ascending a mountain; if you struggle with the foothills, Mount Everest remains a distant dream. Seek answers through meditation, tapping into the wisdom that resides within, and immersing yourself in our literature. Strive to be champions in all aspects of life. Additionally, seek guidance from your mentors, wherever you may be, and take sittings from your preceptors.

After answering the questions, he posed for a photo with them at their request and left for home.
