In the morning Daaji went for a walk in the surrounding forest at the Gokul point and then later spent time with the Grandchildren doing the DIY leaf experiments

A practitioner who was facing certain difficulties with his cleaning asked Daaji about how to deal with it. Daaji explained that we all have some fundamental traits which are difficult to get rid of. At times even if we are practicing sincerely it may take a few years to get out of that complexity.
Daaji said, “Often they are considered evil or very bad. Let's not make such judgements. Even attachment to a good thing, for example, one’s obsession with reading, or watching the Mahabharata series on TV, could become a difficulty. There is nothing wrong with such activities per se but obsession with them is not welcome. The method has been given to us, let's wait and see the results.”

Daaji came to the comfort dorm at precisely 8:30 pm. The sun had already set by 6:30 pm in Kanha and the entire Kanha community trickled in anticipation of their meeting with Daaji. Everyone had settled down by the time he came with this little granddaughter who was holding his hand as they walked in and sat in front of the emblem. The Satsang began immediately. He transported us to another world in the sitting as the hush around the ashram cocooned the assembled practitioners who soared in unison with Him during the Satsang.
Then after a gentle end to the deep meditation, he answered a few questions from practitioners.
There is such a noticeable difference in tone which is so quiet; the vibrations that emanate when he speaks are incredibly gentle and calming. The questions revolved around cleaning in the beginning.
There is nothing wrong with such activities per se but obsession with them are not welcome. The method has been given to us, let's wait and see the results.”
In fact, at times it may be longer than we can anticipate. He spoke of his personal experience regarding this when he had felt a specific heaviness for a while during his time as a practitioner. Then he was sleeping one day and Babuji came to him in his dream and indicated that once he went through this whirlpool, his progress would be straight on, like a quantum leap.
Daaji added, “Such things can be so intense, and thankfully we have our cleaning process, due to which we may be able to get rid of this rapidly, like in a few days. Or it may take lives, it depends on us. Don't give up, keep going. I would not be too worried about it. Often when we have fancy thoughts even about the good volunteer work we may be doing, it may distract our awareness. Even doing good stuff. There is nothing wrong with doing good stuff but brooding over it is not good.”
One of the practitioners asked what respect is. Daaji said, “It is to honour ourselves. Once we know how to honour ourselves, giving an open-hearted feeling towards something means it is respect.
“Respect means to bow down to someone with reverence. Honour, reverence and respect are interconnected phenomena. That is why we offer namaste to individuals when we meet. It is a ritual to which we have become so accustomed that we do not recall that it actually means ‘I bow down to the soul, that ultimate purity which dwells in all of us.’
“When we recognize that and do it with this awareness, then it is a true Namaste which carries respect, reverence and love.”
Another practitioner asked an elaborate question on how the parents' condition and biology affect the foetus and later on the child. In response, Daaji spoke about how we create a field around us.
“Every activity creates a field, every mood creates a field, The thought creates a field within us. Suppose you have an intense feeling of love towards your mother, wife or children, what will happen during that meditation, that vibration will be passed on to them. If you are cross with them, it will also affect them. Even if they are not aware of it then also they will be affected by it.
“Several times parents are concerned about the fact that their children are not meditating. Do your part and see the effect on them. But one has to be sincere about that meditation. It is not that you intentionally want to create such an aura that you want to affect others, but it does affect for sure.
“So we have to confidently keep moving, do our part and that is all. In the autobiography of Babuji Maharaj, there is a dictation from Lalaji Maharaj wherein Lalaji Maharaj informs him that a certain trait of becoming angry present in Babuji Maharaj came to him from his father.
“Likewise even good traits may be transferred. This is why when we make the suggestion prayerfully about the hearts of all brothers and sisters are being filled with love and devotion. Or we practise the Sankalpa that everything around me — the people, the trees, the birds, the atmosphere — all is absorbed in Godly remembrance, but for that, you yourself have to be in that state of being absorbed in the remembrance then the Sankalpa will work magically.”
The session came to a natural conclusion and Daaji announced that he would see everyone at the Diwali day session the next morning at 9 am.
He proposed to all of us that if we were to come to Satsangh at least half an hour in advance and begin to prepare ourselves for Satsang it would be a completely different experience than the one when we come rushing in just a few minutes before Satsang in order to be seated at exactly 9 am. If we observe your condition when we come earlier and prepare ourselves we may feel a whole different impact of that meditation. Daaji urged each one to see this for themselves by trying to implement this no matter where we may be and whichever meditation session we may be attending.

After this, he left. Some practitioners decided to follow him on his way out and he stopped to exchange a few words with them as he walked towards his car parked on the main avenue. A couple from Tamil Nadu had brought some very pretty dolls as a gift for Daaji and they offered those to him. He joyfully accepted the gifts gracing them with a smile.
