Daaji had still not recovered fully. In spite of this, he still made it a point to attend the online meeting to address the volunteers of Madhya Pradesh and to interact with the state’s Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
He arrived punctually and took his place on the traditional swing in his office. He looked serene, dressed impeccably in a deep blue shirt. Whilst the Chief Minister was delayed Daaji started the meeting on time urging those who were listening to understand the importance of taking part in the democratic right of voting. Madhya Pradesh is a large state in India and is currently facing elections.
Daaji said that statistics in India show that the average educated Indian population does not show up to vote as compared to the rural population which is a pity. One should be able to discern and vote so that we pick up leaders who can lead our nation in the right direction. If we do not vote, we do not have the right to criticize those who get elected. Choose wisely and vote. Daaji said that his personal inclination was that Shivraj Singh Chouhan be reelected. That way the spiritual movement through Heartfulness that he has enabled in the state in every village would continue. “Let us pray to Babuji that whatever needs to be done will be done.” He emphasized that we are not concerned with any particular political party or movement as such.
He mentioned that it is commendable that such a rare opportunity has come our way through the state of Madhya Pradesh to serve people in a spiritual way. In earlier times, the King or the state-supported spiritual or social initiatives. Today we depend upon the government for such support.
