Kanha Shantivanam 24th September 2023

Daaji spent the entire day meeting seekers from all over the world and having profound discussions with them about meditation, life, and how Kanha became the green pasture that it is today, giving a place to endemic native trees and creating a beautiful and peaceful environment for meditation.

Daaji invited many practitioners from different parts of the world for dinner including Sh Duraiswami Narain. Sh Narain who had been surprised to see the scale of development in Kanha within just six years, asked Daaji what had inspired him to do all of it and how it had been possible within such a short time. Daaji mentioned that it was the dream of his Master Chariji Maharaj to have this place at Kanha and he simply took that dream forward. Daaji then said it was all because of the contribution of volunteers and of course a lot of help from above (pointing above).

Daaji arose early, working at his computer and going for his usual walk before getting ready for the concluding group meditation of the first part of the Bhandara. He reached the meditation hall and conducted meditation from 9:00 AM to 9:28 AM for around 9751 practitioners. After meditation, Daaji released a USB flash drive containing a collection of 23 talks and Q&A sessions given by him during the Ekatm Abhiyan tour of Madhya Pradesh in June, as well as the Telugu translation of the "Yearning Of The Heart"- Volume 2. He then concluded his reading and commentary of the Bhandara message on ‘Availability’.

After this Daaji met a brother practitioner and his granddaughter Manasvi who recently secured the first rank in traditional Yoga and third in artistic Yoga in the Independent Cup Inter School Yogasana Championship organised by the Swami Vivekananda School of Yoga, Hyderabad. After taking a picture with the family and spending some time with visiting practitioners, he went home. He then had breakfast and conducted a special meditation session for a couple of practitioners. Later Daaji went to rest for a while.

Proceedings from the morning session can be viewed using the below link:

After resting, around 4 pm Daaji met a number of guests and practitioners who had been waiting eagerly to meet him. He was happy to receive plants from Br Alain. Br P R Krishna and Sr Priya Krishna, son and daughter-in-law of Rev Chariji were also present during the interaction. After spending some time with all of them, Daaji asked them to plant some trees as a symbolic gesture. He then got ready to go for evening meditation. The evening meditation from 5:58 PM to 6:33 PM was attended by a total of 4225 practitioners. After meditation, he returned home along with Br. P.R. Krishna and Sr Priya Krishna. The undivided attention that he gave to all practitioners, those visiting and waiting to have a glimpse of him or meet him, and those that he silently filled with his presence, totally embodied the theme of this bhandara - Availability. There could be no one greater, exemplifying how one should be present with one’s body, mind, heart, and soul to serve the Masters. What we learn and imbibe in our lives is up to each of us.

Daaji then said it was all because of the contribution of volunteers and of course a lot of help from above (pointing above). Later after dinner Daaji took them around the Gokul Point forest and showed them the hydroponics units and all the other fruit trees. During the discussion, Sh Narain spoke about their focus on smallholder farmers, how biochar/nurseries can be taken to each of their Better Life Farming Centres, and agreed on the need to integrate livelihood along with spiritual knowledge. Sh Narain wanted to touch Daaji's feet and seek his blessings, but it was a joyous moment instead as Daaji opened both his arms and gave him a big hug.  Daaji then walked all the way to the main door to give all of them an affectionate send-off.

Around 9.05 pm Daaji met Mr and Mrs Haresh Buxani and Dr. Moon who just arrived from South Korea. He was very happy to hear that around 28 Korean practitioners would be arriving late at night to participate in the Bhandara celebrations. Daaji was presented with fruits, herbs, and some seeds from Korea by Dr Moon and an idol of Lord Krishna by Br. Haresh. After spending some time with all of them Daaji then retired for the day.
