Kanha Shantivanam 23rd September 2023

Kanha Shantivanam 23rd September 2023

When Daaji was about to get into his car he saw eighteen army personnel from Jaisalmer who had come to Kanha for the first time to meet him and experience the Heartfulness Bhandara. He immediately stopped, met all of them, and then took a group photograph with them. They were all very happy to meet him. After this, he left for home.

There were a number of books released after meditation that morning - “Tales From The Puranas and Itihaas” in English, “Yearning of the Heart” -Volume 2 in English and Telugu, “Methods of Spiritual Training Under Sahaj Marg”- Volume 1 and 2 for preceptors in Kannada and Gujarati, “The Eternal Eye” by Sis Shashi Dhawan in Telugu and “Farmers Have The Earth In Their Hands” by Dr Paul Luu. The next part of the morning session was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Daaji representing Heartfulness and Dr Paul Luu representing Biodiversity on behalf of the ‘4 per 1000’ initiative. This MoU has crystallized the enhancement of cooperation between us and the ‘4 per 100’ initiative to work together to raise public awareness, to inform and sensibilise policymakers about healthy soils, and to encourage stakeholders to transition towards better agriculture based on the principles of agroecology in all the countries across the world where this initiative works.

Daaji arose early and offered prasad for the main day of the first part of the Bhandara. After reading for a while, he had breakfast and then got ready for meditation. He arrived at the meditation hall and conducted group meditation from 8:58 AM to 9:40 AM with the total number of practitioners present for the meditation being approximately 10168.

After this Daaji addressed all and shared that he would read the Bhandara message and share with everyone his insights and guidance on the theme of Availability. After going through part of the message, he said that he would pause there and resume in the evening.

Daaji met many seekers and guests before getting into his car. When he met one of the guests Sh Duraiswami Narain, Vice Chairman, Managing Director & CEO of Bayer Crop Science Limited (BCSL), an interesting conversation ensued.  When Daaji asked Sh Narain how long he would be at Kanha, he immediately responded saying that he could stay as long as Daaji wanted him to stay. Daaji laughingly said that this response would get him into trouble.

After returning home from there he went for his evening walk and on the walk he asked for the Miracle-Gro fertiliser to be sprayed on the papaya trees. Daaji also met a practitioner, an artist from Mysore who handed over a small bust sculpture of beloved Baa to him. He then spent some time with the brother and his family over tea.

After some time, Daaji’s youngest granddaughter Laya joyfully came to show him her new pink cap. She happily asked him to put on one as well, saying "Dada hat, momma hat". He lovingly put on a cap too and then took her for a walk around Gokul Point after she asked him to take her. He then went to rest for a while. Later that evening after doing a few eye exercises, Daaji was happy to receive a new curved monitor that was then installed on his table. It was soon time to go to the meditation hall for evening group meditation.

He then released two more publications for the day - the Bhandara message on Availability in the languages English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil as well as volumes 1 to 4 of the Whispers From The Brighter World (1944-1955) in the language Kannada. After this Daaji continued his reading and commentary on the Bhandara message, pausing after a few minutes to conclude it the next morning. He then left for home

Around 7.40 pm Daaji gave a special sitting for a couple of abhyasis in the home.
