Afterwards, Daaji, twinkling with delight, proposed a walk and Devki eagerly agreed to accompany. During their stroll, the grandfather–granddaughter duo engaged in heartfelt conversations, strengthening their special bond.
Usually, on these walks Daaji gently clears the leaves that have fallen on the path, placing them by the roadside or near the trees to enable them to turn into compost. Intrigued by this practice, Devki inquired, “Dada, why do leaves fall to the ground?”
Daaji responded with wisdom, “As leaves age, they wither and eventually fall, making way for new ones. Just like everything and everyone, when they grow old, they pass away. When we die, we can observe from above what we've left behind.”
Curious, Devki pressed on, "What does it look like from above? What can we see?" Daaji's reply was enigmatic, "We'll only know when we get there."
