Jabalpur & Katni & Rewa 22nd June 2023

The day started with a group meditation. After the meditation, Daaji gave a discourse in which he commented on the environment of the ashram, specifically the meditation hall. Katni was the first stop for him. Daaji discussed the significance of keeping the condition offered during meditation by performing a sankalpa. Daaji arrived in Rewa around 6 p.m. and immediately began meditation. He then went to the home of a sister practitioner, where he planned to spend the night.

The day began with group meditation at the ashram from 7:28 am to 8:06 am. Daaji gave a talk after the meditation, where he remarked upon the atmosphere of the ashram, with particular reference to the meditation hall. He spoke about every human being and place having a personality of its own, that could be felt by anyone with sensitivity. He urged the residents of the ashram society to enhance the harmony of the ashram and ensure that morning and evening satsang was conducted everyday at the meditation hall and attended by everyone living there. The purpose of the meditation hall was not being fulfilled and it reflected in the atmosphere. It was like a confirmation to all that the vibrations of a place reflect the action or inaction happening there spiritually - an invaluable lesson indeed on how ashrams should be.

Bidding adieu to the grateful hearts at Jabalpur, he started on the next leg of the historic trip that was to take him across the heartland and many new centres and villages that had come up during the Ekatma Abhiyan. The first stop awaiting him was Katni.

A large hall at a hotel, full of new seekers, practitioners and volunteers of the Jan Abhiyan Parishad welcomed Daaji as he reached Katni. Wonderful arrangements had been made to welcome him and the group travelling along. Daaji conducted group meditation from 10:34 am to 11:04 am and gave a short talk and then took a few questions from the seekers present there. He explained about the importance of retaining the condition given during meditation by taking a sankalpa that the condition may remain, even to the point of its expansion through the day. After this he met a few guests and took lunch followed by a short rest. The next meditation of the day was conducted from 3:46 pm to 4:16 pm after which he departed for the next halt - Rewa.

Daaji arrived at Rewa at around 6 pm and proceeded to conduct meditation straightaway. The small hall was full of seekers and practitioners waiting to meet him. After the meditation he addressed questions from those present and patiently guided new seekers in understanding the practice and the need for a spiritual guide. He then proceeded to a sister practitioner’s house where he was to stay for the night. He was met by many seekers and practitioners there. He had dinner with a number of guests after which a demonstration of Brighter Minds was conducted for the people present.
