Daaji’s last day of the tour began with an unexpected interview with Ms Reema Gautam from Aaj Tak TV channel while he sat looking at the view of the city from his room. He then proceeded to the hall and conducted group meditation followed by a question and answer session. After meeting a few guests from the city, he proceeded to move out to Indore for his

flight that would take him back to Hyderabad. It was a significant time, marking the end of a historic tour of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh - a culmination of the first phase of Ekatma Abhiyan. It was nothing short of a marvel - an unprecedented covering of 23 cities, towns and villages in 14 days! The special trip had been made most unique for Daaji in a very personal way, in that his son Marg Patel had been the

‘sarathi’ for him throughout the travels in three states, driving the car every place he went.

Daaji arrived at Indore airport and rested in the VIP lounge before boarding the flight back to Hyderabad. All the members of the group travelling with him felt nostalgic and at

the same time grateful to have been with him. The single thought in many minds was a wistful wish that the trip may never end.

The flight landed at Hyderabad at 1:45 pm. Daaji was welcomed warmly by happy practitioners upon his return after two weeks. He reached Kanha Shanti Vanam where he was welcomed heartily by his family and grandchildren who had been waiting for his return. 

 And thus came to a close, a saga of love, joy, dedication and the grace of the hierarchy - felt by all those who were with him, as well as those who joined him virtually from across the globe. The sheer stamina and enthusiasm that carried Daaji and all the

group members was a blessing that could only be experienced through his grace. It was and continues to be a tour that can never be forgotten. We truly believe him when he said that it is time to forget the India of the past and stop talking about how great it was. Daaji’s call for a new India that will be created through the efforts of dedicated volunteers that are ready to dedicate their lives to divine service is inspiring. Let us all

rise to his call for a new India, a spiritual nation to lead the world!
