Simple tips to avoid making mistakes by Daaji
The mind has a tendency and habit to wander all the time. Slowly we try to regulate it, not control it. It will take time. Don’t fight with thoughts, let them come. The more we give them attention, the more our mind is attracted to them. Just remind yourself that you are meditating.
What is important is your heart? Yoga does not demand any belief system. In fact, any belief system would slow you down. We must remain open in our hearts and say, ‘God, I do like to believe you are there but I want to experience your presence.’ And it should be on neutral ground.
