Kanha Shantivanam 3rd February 2024

After the meditation session, bhajans by sister Ranjana Mehta echoed in the hall once again. Daaji then asked Prakash Sheshadri, the regional coordinator of Tamil Nadu, to speak on the Bhandara message that was released for the first batch.

During the walk, Enno asked if it was all about identification in general and if we, as abhyasis, would dissolve our identification. He was curious about who was the one identified and who dissolved the identification. Daaji said identification is automatic through the mind. Enno asked, “If identification is automatic, it could be a trap or a skill, couldn't it?

Daaji replied, “Yes, but people like to identify with their particular state or religion; they are not thinking about what they are identifying.”

The morning meditation of the day was from 9 am to 9.37 am. Daaji’s face wore its usual forbearing majesty as more than 14,000 ardent abhyasis followed him into the depths of their hearts, silently absorbing the grace that flowed and permeated every particle of the assembly. Many more had joined online. After the meditation session, bhajans by sister Ranjana Mehta echoed in the hall once again. Daaji then asked Prakash Sheshadri, the regional coordinator of Tamil Nadu, to speak on the Bhandara message that was released for the first batch.

Around 4 p.m., many practitioners met Daaji in his office. Around 6 p.m., Daaji went to Kanha Sarovar and invited the team of artists led by Christian Macketanz. Among them was Enno Messerschmitt from a little village in Germany, accompanied by a group of seven new aspirants who had come to India for the first time and had attended this auspicious occasion of Lalaji Maharaj's birthday celebration. Daaji was pleased to invite this group for a walk around the Kanha Savovar and explained to them the plants, their qualities and effects, and the water harvesting and supply through the artificial pond.

Afterward, he invited this small, open-hearted group to dinner in his garden.

When Daaji arrived home from the Sarovar, he was greeted by a large number of people who were waiting for him just outside his home. One of them offered a box of Indian sweets called laddus to Daaji. Daaji took a little piece of it and said it was very nice. He then offered it back to them and told them to carefully carry it back and distribute it to their loved ones back home.

During the dinner, the silence and the wonderful atmosphere touched the invited group profoundly. A question arose about the Koshas: Do the Koshas have a movement?

Daaji said, “No. Just as the thought itself has no energy, when we direct and express it, there is energy. For example, when you say to your husband or wife, "I love you," "I don't like you," or even "I want to divorce you,"  it creates a certain energy. Jokingly, he added, your wife might even respond and say, "Oh, why didn't you tell me that earlier? Then I would have been happy.”.

Enno asked, “The subtle body consists of the pranamaya kosha, the manomaya kosha, and the vignanamaya kosha. Do the koshas expand?

Daaji said, “No, only the consciousness expands.”

Another question was related to the causes of psychological problems and trauma. Daaji replied, “Trauma is, in fact, deeply suppressed emotions. There was an illness that was described in the 14th and 15th centuries as "nun's disease." At that time, it mainly affected nuns. It used to be said to manifest as a malignant lump in the left breast. It used to be caused by suppressed emotions in the nuns. Repressed emotions cause cancer. A cure for suppressed emotions is forgiveness.“.
