Kanha Shantivanam 18th May 2023

Meetings took up most of Daaji's morning session. He held a lengthy discussion with Br. Vamsi, Capt. Vineet Ranawat, Kanha Ashram Manager, and his staff about installing bio-CNG over Kanha, with Napier grass as the source. Daaji then led a meditation session for six practitioners, granting them permission to work as heartfulness trainers. Daaji spends time teaching his granddaughters, Devki and Nanak, how to write numbers and draw. Daaji addressed some of his ideas on gratitude in the evening, saying, "The vicious cycle of desire can be broken by cultivating gratitude". Daaji later went for a walk in the garden.

Walking further along, Daaji inspected some newly potted Amla (Indian gooseberry) branches. While walking, Daaji spoke about how the Guru makes the journey dynamic. Pointing out the various aspects of the journey—thinking, feeling, becoming, being, and non-being—he said, "If you are in any one stage and stay there, you are stuck. It is the Guru who makes things dynamic."
Daaji’s morning session was filled with meetings. He had a long discussion with Br. Vamsi, Capt. Vineet Ranawat, Kanha Ashram Manager, and his team on implementing Bio CNG, using Napier grass (also known as Uganda grass or elephant grass) as the source, across Kanha, which was followed by other meetings till 10.20 am.
Daaji then conducted a meditation session for six practitioners, permitting them to work (volunteer) as heartfulness trainers (preceptors):   -     Seemal Kapoor -     Sourabh Sindhe -     Suchit Sindhe -     Kushal Gurram -     Karthik Aadi -     Moni Singh
Later, Daaji met a few practitioners and then spent some time with his grandchildren, Devki and Nanak, teaching them how to write numbers and draw.   At around 6:00 p.m. in the evening, Daaji discussed some of his ideas on gratitude. Speaking about the virtues of gratitude, he said, "The vicious cycle of desire can be broken by cultivating gratitude."
Later in the evening, when the weather had cooled down a little, Daaji stepped out for a walk in the garden. He plucked a few berries and tried them. He also asked the practitioners walking with him to try a few. After walking a few places, he plucked out a leaf and carefully gathered some berry seeds from it. Then he requested that the gardener try planting them. It is the Guru who makes things dynamic."   Dinner was a quiet affair. Afterward, Daaji and his granddaughter enjoyed listening to some of the songs dedicated to Babuji Maharaj from the Heartfulness Production archives.
