It was yet another day of meetings and sessions for Daaji. He spoke about deservingness and expressed that Babuji would have been very happy if there were abhyasis such as are there now. He said that the Padma Bhushan award was all because of abhyasis and not because of the President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission.
No country can survive without spirituality. It was here that sages had experienced the divinity that resides in every particle. There is a big difference between religion and spirituality. In religion we put God out of our hearts, so people don't meditate because their conscience pricks them and that is why people get upset during meditation. Meditation is like standing in front of a mirror in which a clear picture of the person meditating is displayed. Shri Krishna says that everyone wants happiness, but one who does not have peace in his mind cannot find happiness. The only way is to meditate; to bring harmony in our heart through purity and integrity in the mind through focus. Meditation works wonders but most people don't know what it is. During meditation, the mind is always engrossed in thoughts.
It was yet another day of meetings and sessions for Daaji. He met Dr U S Awasthi, Managing Director IFFCO and Shri Yogendra Kumar, Director IFFCO, and had a fruitful discussion with them and other important senior officials from the organisation. The discussion continued over breakfast.
In an informal conversation with abhyasis after breakfast, Daaji was happy and in a good mood. He spoke about deservingness and expressed that Babuji would have been very happy if there were abhyasis such as are there now. He said that the Padma Bhushan award was all because of abhyasis and not because of the President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission. In Babuji’s time this would have brought him the Bharat Ratna. He was so liberal that he would have put all the abhyasis who are so driven, into the Central Region.

He said that Daaji is such a personality, if we call him the pioneer of spirituality and science, then it will not be an exaggeration. The agriculture fraternity is blessed to have such a great seeker among them. Everyone in the world is in search of happiness, but the methods adopted to achieve them are endless; to achieve them, the path of spirituality along with Karma is very important. In Daaji we can see a combination of both spirituality and action. His guidance, lifestyle, far-reaching thinking, love for nature and dedication to Nature are an inspiration to all. In light of the recent Padma Bhushan award bestowed upon Daaji, the minister shared with all present that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is giving full respect to such eminent personalities and progressive farmers. He appreciated Daaji ‘s best efforts to convey the message of science and spirituality and life's values to as many people as possible. An MoU was signed between the Indian Council of Agricultural Research and heartfulness Institute, which is benefiting everyone. He mentioned that due to the efforts of Daaji in Kanha Shanti Vanam, 1,400 acres of barren land is now covered with green cover and every drop of water is being saved through best water management practices. People from about 130 countries come and meditate there. One lakh people can meditate at a time and 50,000 people can stay there at a time.
Daaji gave a talk at the event, where he said that India is the only country which can perfect and build the spiritual foundation of the world.
The chief objective of meditation is God-realization. An inner search is needed to find God. If the deeds are right the soul automatically gets peace, otherwise the soul makes us restless. Once the heart is pure, God comes to you as God is more eager to meet you than you are. What you build today will follow you in the future. Such a peaceful state can be achieved through Heartfulness cleaning techniques and meditation.
