Daaji sets out to Delhi to receive the prestigious Padma Bhushan Award, one of the nation's highest civilian honours.
Daaji's Journey to Delhi NCR With the blessings of the Hierarchy showering upon Him, Daaji began his travels taking him to New Delhi to receive the prestigious Padma Bhushan award, one of the highest civilian honours of the nation, India.
It was a joyful moment when Daaji started from his residence at Kanha Shanti Vanam, to embark upon a momentous journey in the life of the Sahaj Marg Spiritual Movement, one that would go down in the annals of history. With the blessings of the Hierarchy showering upon Him, Daaji began his travels taking him to New Delhi to receive the prestigious Padma Bhushan award, one of the highest civilian honours of the nation, India.
Daaji was in a happy mood as he arrived at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Hyderabad. There was a special public book-signing event for The Wisdom Bridge at the WH Smith bookstore at the airport, where many received a personally autographed copy of this iconic book from His hands.
Daaji and the small group travelling with him arrived at the IGI airport, New Delhi at about 12:30 pm and were given a warm and heartfelt welcome by abhyasis of NCR. It was as if nature had poured its choicest blessings upon Delhi NCR with pleasant cooling showers to welcome Daaji. He went straight to an abhyasi brother’s house to rest, after which a satsang had been planned at the RK Puram ashram.
The entire atmosphere at the ashram was scented with the fragrance of lovely flowers in full bloom all over and hearts were brimming with love to welcome their beloved after five long years. Daaji conducted satsang as soon as He arrived at the ashram, which was as mesmerising and soothing as the atmosphere.
Thereafter, He gave a short talk followed by a Q&A session.
"We are like..little fans everywhere. Our connection is with the Source and we keep on providing cooling air to the atmosphere to the people... We can go on transmitting our love.. and transmitting with the heart. (But) It's a very poor substitute. Do what we can actually do with our thoughts, thoughtful actions. And what we understand work (as) karma yog. It's not enough that we sit and meditate at our homes. But be more sympathetic, be more compassionate, be more kind and show it with our actions to our neighbors, to our colleagues at office... Heart to heart talk always benefits all involved in the process."
“Only when we annihilate ‘ourselves’ will God come. …If we keep having Pride within us that we are ‘this and that’ - then the Divine will run away from us!”
"...As a Yogi advances and becomes love oneself, there is no limit to how many He can love.... Every entity carries the soul, (and is) part and parcel of God. If I cannot love, then it means I am not in love with God. So where is your Love? Where is your advancement and spirituality? ...Because everything has this essence of God. There is no question of saying I specifically love so and so. ..Once you have this(Love) universally embedded in everything then there is no attachment to any specific things. Specificity kills it. Choice making(in Love) is destructive."
"Though there is a universal under-current of love in my heart, yet my love towards my spouse, my children, my parents, my friends will change. Under current will remain same when the expression will remain different in each situation. It is like this current of electricity. When it passes through ..light fixtures, it gives us luminosity. Passes through .. fan, it gives us little air, extra air. When it passes through air conditioning or a cooler, it will give you cool air. If it's a heater, it will give you hot air. Toaster oven and refrigerator, it's the same current, expresses itself in many many different ways."
“To remain joyful is very natural. It's God-given. If we remain inactive, effortless, when we are pushed in a corner when you are challenged, when you face problems, if you don't act on it, it will only increase. We have to work on our problems. We cannot say, God please handle it, I will now become effortless. It will not serve any purpose. Unless some troubles are there, some stress is there. Our tendency is not to do anything. Isn't it?”
