The flood of activities over the last few days has taken a toll on Daaji’s health. The morning finds him unwell.

Nevertheless, between 7.30 a.m. and 7.50 a.m., Daaji gave the final sitting and granted permission to architect Nima and his wife Sara from Iran to serve as preceptors of the Mission. 
 

In reply to an e-mail, Daaji stressed the need to develop sensitivity, especially while working as a preceptor.

A sense of the sacred

“A preceptor may find it difficult initially to perceive the inner condition of a practitioner, but if interest is there, they learn to read the condition. If the preceptor concludes from the first day that sensitivity is unnecessary, or if they give up declaring, “I cannot do it,” nothing can be done. It is like a drop-out from kindergarten. Such a scenario is tragic, where even a primary education of learning the alphabet and numbers is rejected.

“A preceptor of caliber can perceive whether the need of the practitioner is for Transmission or Cleaning. A more refined preceptor will be able to figure out the specific region that requires cleaning. An even more advanced preceptor will be able to pinpoint exactly which chakra is affected.

“This level of perception is possible if one is careful. One who is not careful, who goes on blabbering about what was observed to all and sundry, will be denied access to this knowledge. Who denies it? No one but the preceptor themselves. The need is to perceive such knowledge with reverence, as sacred work to be completed.”
 

In the evening, even as he was relaxing on the swing, he felt uncomfortable and set out on a walk to feel better. As always, the ramble was interspersed with caring for plants on the way.

Noticing some of the plants infected by insects, Daaji requested the concerned team to immediately attend to them by spraying appropriate medicine. He also directed them to feed the fish in the pond. 
 

After walking for about 30 minutes, he retired to his room. He rested most of the day.
